Namex Remote IXP is a one-stop-shop solution that enables Namex members to remotely connect to major peering points across Europe simply connecting to the Namex switching platform.
Peering at the major European IXPs means having direct access to the largest European and International networks, at an affordable price. The Namex Remote IXP comprehensive solution includes a high-capacity transport service and customizable virtual port allocations all in a single, easy to set up, bundle.
On the administrative side, Namex will take care of all the steps needed for members to join the partner IXPs. On the technical side, first level support is provided by the Namex NOC, while escalation is handled directly by the partner IXPs.
The Remote IXP service is currently available to AMS-IX (Amsterdam) and LINX (London).
The available capacities are 100 Mbps, 250 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1Gbps on 1 Gbps ports and, additionally, 2,5 Gbps on 10 Gbps ports.
